Beloved television series Gavin & Stacey brought laughter to millions of viewers before it aired its final episode in December 2019. At the heart of the show was Joanna Page, who portrayed the character of Stacey Shipman for over three years.
Four years have passed since the show ended with its Christmas special following a hiatus. We often see James Corden, who played Smithy, on our screens whether it's on The Late Late Show or Carpool Karaoke. But where is Joanna Page?
Born on March 23, 1978, in Treboeth, Swansea, Joanna started her acting journey at a young age. Little did she know that her role in Gavin & Stacey would catapult her into the limelight and establish her as one of Britain's most loved actresses. Following the success of Gavin & Stacey, Joanna continued to captivate audiences on both the small and big screens.
You might recall her role in the 2003 Christmas film Love Actually, where she portrayed the character Just Judy. In addition to her on-screen success, Joanna Page has made her mark on the stage and has been a part of theatre productions.

Fans have been able to keep up with Joanna through her Instagram getting an insight into her life now. Her bio now reads she's a mum-of-four and has two dogs. She's also often seen posting about charities she has worked with, most recently becoming an RSPCA ambassador.
The 46-year-old now lives in Essex and is married to Emmerdale actor James Thornton. The couple welcomed their youngest child aged-44 in what she referred to as a "surprise" pregnancy on her social media announcement post. Chatting with the Mirror previously, the mum-of-four said she has cut back on acting roles in favour of presenting jobs, with the change allowing her to spend more time with her kids.
"I really enjoy presenting and it works a lot better with a family as you don’t have to go away for weeks on end," the star explained. For the first six months after I had Eva I was away working filming two shows back to back," she said. I had my mum looking after her on set but it was so tough as all I wanted to do was spend time with my new baby."
She added: “Also, I just find presenting a lot more interesting. You’re always doing something different and I love just being myself and chatting to people. It can be a lot more fun than sitting alone in a trailer for hours learning lines, then going out to do a scene where you’re pretending to be somebody else."
