The Anti-Gadoid Gun is a gag weapon created by the developers. It cannot fire any type of ammunition or do any damage to enemies. When fired, it creates loud noises which alert special Infected to your location.

Later on in the game, once you're ready to graduate from both the bow's practical silence and the Police Rifle's cushy damage, you'll want the Volkan Combat Assault Rifle. It's the best of both worlds and offers the most fun and convenient gunplay in Dying Light. It's all thanks to the built-in suppressor.
