The Druid is a versatile character in Dungeonborne that can transition between a fast melee fighter in Panther Shape and a powerful elemental summoner in Elven form, allowing for an array of actions that players can make use of.

Finding the right sets, items, and stats for a Druid can be a little tricky, but uncovering the best build for one's playstyle is worth the effort. For those looking to take their Druid to the next level, there are several reliable builds available to try out. From using hit-and-run tactics to a powerful all-front assault using the Primal Awakening skill and the Treant Summoning, Dungeonborne players will be spoiled for choice when creating a Druid build.

5 Storm Rage Druid

Build Requirements: Storm Rage Set + Storm Staff + Pure Int

• Pros: Fast, Spammy, Hit And Run
• Cons: Squishy, Easily Cornered

This is arguably one of the best Druid builds players can get in the current version of Dungeonborne (until Mithril Interactive nerfs it, that is). It basically focuses on using Primal Awakening to turn into a panther, run, and charge the Storm Rage passive. Then, all players need to do is shoot a Fire Staff beam at enemies from afar, causing serious Storm Elemental Damage, and 75% Slow for up to 3 enemies.

The good thing about this build is that it empowers the Druid's ranged capabilities, but it sacrifices Stamina for maximizing elemental damage and also requires some Dexterity for mobility. Players will need to invest 30 Set Charges to draw the maximum potential of the Storm Rage Set. It's a high-budget build and requires players to farm lots. If players add a a Mimic Potion to the mix, they can also enjoy messing with their opponents when they're chasing them.

4 Treant Spammer Druid

Build Requirements: Intelligence + Will Stat Focus

• Pros: Versatile, Mitigation, High Damage
• Cons: Squishy, Less Mobility

The Force Of Nature power of the Druid can be maximized by investing at least 44 points in Intelligence and 45 in Will. Doing so will unlock the passive Natural Swiftness that reduces Treant Cooldown to 30 seconds, and Seed Pods, which grants an extra charge to the Treant Spell, allowing players to basically spam it all the time.

If players want to make sure their Treants survive for longer, having at least 27 points of Stamina will activate the Nature's Breath passive, which grants a 150 HP shield to the Treant each time it is summoned. On the downside, this Druid build has less mobility since it's far from the Dexterity focus. It's also squishier, since it relies on other stats besides Stamina. Players should make sure to bring Shielding Flasks to gain some extra mitigation.

3 Prowler Druid

Build Requirements: Tiny Torment Set + Dex Stat Focus

• Cons: Squishy, Less Elemental Damage

Those who love hit 'n' run tactics have access to a Dexterity focus build specialized in drawing the most of the enhanced panther shape's mobility, as well as the Druid's natural abilities for detecting enemies. 2 Fairy Summoner Druid

The Fairy of the Lake Set has been considerably nerfed, but it is still viable for ranged spamming. Though it doesn't return as fast as it used to, it is a good way to complement the Druid's other abilities by taking advantage of the Set's ability for mitigation, which is still strong in Ranged-focused classes. Fairy of The Lake Set is also high budget, but it is an investment players won't regret making, since it's completely broken.

The Druid can take advantage of it by positioning themselves in the backlines, cutting the retreat of the enemy with a Storm Staff or the Treants, and blasting them with the Fairy's Single target extra damage, running fast with Panther shape to recover the Fairy and repositioning to re-cast. Players can rinse and repeat to create a retrofitting effect that will ultimately cause great distress in groups of melee fighters or even ranged casters.

1 Crowd Control Druid

Build Requirements: Dex + Stamina Focus + Force Of Trinity Set

• Pros: Great CC, Great For Prolonged Fights
• Cons: Bad at Ranged, Perma Shape Shifted, High Build Cost

The best thing about the Force of Trinity set is that it not only causes 100 physical damage in an area but applies slow crowd control of 80% for 5 seconds and a debuff effect called Vunerability, which increases damage by 20%. Of course, considering that players will require 30 charges of the set to unlock its full potential, it is considered a high-budget build. Gamers can always reach the charges required by unlocking all three secret heirlooms in the game and the affix for 150 Refined Steel Ingots.

But it is totally worth it. Since the Druid is the caster with the best mobility in the game, they can make full use of it by jumping in the middle of the enemies, slashing three times in fast succession, then triggering the effect and using Shadow Assault again to disengage. If the Druid gets cornered by doing this, they can always cast Treant before diving to create a safe area where they can operate away from the reach of pesky Fighters and their OP Whirlwind skill.
